Between Dinkytown, Stadium Village, Marcy-Holmes, and the East and West Banks, it’s hard to count how many projects are underway – major University of Minnesota facilities, commercial and a lot of residential construction.

I hope to fill this page out more, but here are some photos of the new Cancer and Cardiovascular Research Building that’s just finishing up near TCF Bank Stadium.

Here’s a U of M video on the project, followed by some pictures.

The Station on Washington is another big ole’ apartment building underway along Washington Avenue-Central Corridor light rail within the University of Minnesota’s Stadium Village neighborhood. Designed by Opus, this will contain 97 apartment units and is slated to be completed in August of 2014.

While I was in the neighborhood, I took a few pictures of Moos Tower and Phillips-Wangensteen Building. I loved exploring these two behemoths when I was a student at the University.
