About Tom

I am an outdoor journalist, walker, bicyclist, photographer, camper, snomobiler and food consumer who loves trains, the woods and Minneapolis, among other pursuits.

For work, I’m the senior editor of Boating Industry magazine and the associate editor of Snow Goer. In years past, I also wrote for the now-defunct ATV Magazine and Camping Life.

I spend a disproportionate amount of my time exploring Minneapolis and reading about developments proposed throughout the city.
