From The Atlantic, this delightful video is all about adults who have gotten serious about their treehouses, including a “treesort” in northern Oregon. I would like to life in a treehouse. Wouldn’t you?

Minnehaha Falls
While the stormy weather’s been a challenge this spring in Minneapolis, it’s led to very high water levels – a nice change after a year of severe drought. It’s been years since I’ve visited Minnehaha Falls Regional Park, and it’s a great time to see the falls running at peak flows.
West Yellowstone in Winter
As part of my job writing and testing sleds for Snow Goer, I spend a week in the greater West Yellowstone area every winter to ride the next year’s models. The area’s trail system is amazing, and very scenic. The unfrozen river is at the western edge of Yellowstone National Park, and I find a moose chilling here every year. I wonder if it’s the same one…
Chasing Ice
After some interesting conversations lately, I’ve been thinking about climate change/global warming more than ever. As a snowmobile journalist, I am very hopeful for a normal, cold and snowy winter. Whatever happens one year, though, is irrelevant in the face of the trends. I’m very excited to see this movie – it looks beautiful and sad.
